Chef vs. City pits Spinasse's Stratton and Mashaney against Food Network's Consentino and Sanchez | Entertainment

Spinasse head chef Jason Stratton and sous chef Carrie Mashaney will be featured in this week’s episode of Chef vs. City on the Food Network . The show will air on Friday at 10 pm.

The show will pit Stratton and Mashaney against hosts Aaron Sanchez and Chris Consentino in a scanvenger hunt around the Puget Sound filled with food challenges at places such as a bar in Tacoma, Capitol Hill’s Anchovies & Olives and Downtown’s Top Pot, among other places. The Food Network bills it as one of the closest races ever.

In the meantime, the current issue of Food & Wine Magazine featuring Stratton as one of the country’s best new chefs is on newsstands. Stratton is featured front and center on the cover.
